Why you should cancel more meetings

There’s a lot that will happen in between the time you propose a meeting, and the time it actually convenes.

Any one of these happenings, many of which you could have never reasonably foreseen, might render that meeting unecessary. So cancel it.

I know, cancelling a meeting feels like an admission that you were wrong. It’s not. It’s a sign of agility.

A cancelled meeting, even last minute (especially last minute), should be celebrated. Hell, we should give out awards for the individual who cancels the most.

And those who never cancel meetings? We should be suspicious of them. They’re either clairvoyant or intransigent.
